“I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.” Psalm 40:1b
When was the last time you received something that you been waiting for a long time? Maybe it was yesterday or maybe last year. Can you remember that feeling? were you shocked, excited or even a bit afraid?
Hannah’s womb had been closed because the Lord ordained it for many years, in her great anguish, the Lord heard her cry, here is her story:
“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'” Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” John 7:37-38
We have all heard that water is good for us, and how we all should drink more of it, yet the majority of people are not drinking as much as they should. We all know is good for us. Without it, our bodies wouldn’t function as they should.
“Everyone was gripped with great wonder and awe, and they praised God, exclaiming, “We have seen amazing things today!” Luke 5:26
This is the first month of 2019 can you believe it? As every year starts, I sit and wonder what will this year bring about? Does that ever happen to you? We of course pray and hope for the best.
I don’t know about you, but I am expecting big and amazing things. My biggest prayer is for God to come and show off in our lives. I know a lot of people who have struggled a lot this past couple of years and are ready for refreshment. People need more love, joy, peace, provision and rest from battles. Lord hear our prayers!
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.” Luke 15:20
Have you been running the race of life, but are so tired and frustrated, that you just want to give up? Many times we all do. Sometimes you feel like you are all alone and have no one to turn to. Have you felt like your heavenly Fathers is far, or He just doesnt care?
I was coming back from my vacation a couple of days ago, I looked out the plane window and saw a beautiful sky. It was calming, and the clouds looked like soft pillows in which you could jump around, or lay to rest. It was so peaceful that I stared at God’s creation for a while. I was thinking about how insignificant we are, yet He loves us and has chosen us for a higher purpose.
When you are above the clouds, it seems like you are in another world. All the business and hecticness of daily life disappear. All is calm.
